Spencer Hughes rallies for Top-10 finish at Circle City after hectic start
Dealing with hauler issues on their trip to Indiana, Spencer Hughes and the JCM Motorsports team rolled into Circle City Raceway (Indianapolis, Ind.) late, missing hot laps and qualifying with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Seires.
Hughes made up ground in his heat race and managed to find a transfer position in the B-Main. Starting 21st in the $15,000-to-win main event, Spencer stormed through the field and wound up with a Top-10 finish in ninth.
Saturday's $25,000-to-win show at Florence Speedway (Walton, Ky.) was rained out.
Hughes currently sits 12th in the LOLMDS point standings.
