Spencer Hughes tackles Bama Bash with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series
Staying close to the JCM Motorsports shop over the weekend, Spencer Hughes was one of 50 drivers signed in with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for the doubleheader Bama Bash.
Charging forward in his heat race on Friday, Hughes started 13th in the $8,000-to-win opener and recorded a 15th-place outing after 40 laps.
For Saturday's $12,000-to-win finale, Spence snuck into the feature with the final transfer spot in his heat race and once again recorded a 15th-place outing in the A-Main.
