Spencer Hughes grabs Top-10 finish during Winter Nationals at Ocala Speedway
Kicking off five days straight of racing, Spencer Hughes and the JCM Motorsports team unloaded at Ocala (Fla.) Speedway on Tuesday afternoon for the first night of competition with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
Spencer made the first feature event of the week but was an early retiree and finished 24th. After missing the following night's show, Hughes recorded his most successful night of the week on Thursday night as he landed a strong Top-10 finish in sixth.
With now over 45 Late Models in the pit area, Hughes did not make Friday's $12,000-to-win show but raced his way into the $25,000-to-win finale on Saturday where he would finish 21st.
