Podium finish with Northern Allstars Late Model Series at Florence Speedway
Making a long haul to Kentucky, Spencer Hughes was one of 31 Northern Allstars Late Models at Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) on Saturday afternoon.
Clocking in fifth-quickest in qualifying, Hughes ran runner-up in his heat race which placed him on the third-row for the $5,000-to-win feature. With 40 laps to work with, Spencer quickly moved into the runner-up position and ran second until he slipped to third late in the event.
