Spencer Hughes 12th in Buckeye Spring 50 at Atomic Speedway
Traveling North to join the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Spencer Hughes unloaded the JCM Motorsports No. 19 Rocket XR1 at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway for the first of two race nights over the weekend.
With 48 Late Models checked in for Saturday's $15,000-to-win Indiana Icebreaker, Hughes struggled to find speed throughout the night and missed the A-Main after an eighth-place run in his B-Main.
Racing his way into Sunday's $12,000-to-win show at Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio), Spencer landed just outside the Top-10 in 12th.
