Runner-up finish in The Gobbler at Duck River Raceway Park
On Saturday afternoon, Spencer Hughes made his lone start of the weekend at Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tenn.) for The Gobbler with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.
After topping the 29-car field in qualifying, Spencer dominated his heat race which earned him the pole position for the $10,000-to-win feature. In the 50-lap main event, Hughes fell back to fourth before regaining his runner-up position with last-lap pass. He trailed Tanner English while Jadon Frame, Christian Hanger, and Sam Seawright completed the Top-5.
