Wil Herrington attends World 100 at Eldora Speedway
Making the long haul to the state of Ohio, Wil Herrington unloaded the JCM Motorsports No. 19M Rocket XR1 at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday afternoon for the 53rd-running of the World 100.
With the whopping 102 Late Models split into two groups, Herrington nabbed the final transfer spot in his heat race before recording a 17th-place finish in the $12,000-to-win preliminary feature.
For another round of preliminaries on Friday, Wil didn't hit the invert quite right and was unable to transfer to one of the 25-lap prelim features after a sixth-place finish in his Last Chance Showdown.
For Saturday's $56,000-to-win finale, Herrington gained two positions in his heat race but pulled off early in his Last Chance Showdown. Wil was scored 20th in the final rundown.
