Herrington charges to runner-up finish with Hunt the Front at Swainsboro
Friday afternoon saw Wil Herrington return to the driver's seat of his JCM Motorsports No. 19M at Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Ga.) with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.
With 34 Late Models in the pit area, Herrington qualified 11th-quickest before picking up the last transfer spot in his heat race. Rolling off from the 13th-starting position in the $10,000-to-win main event, Wil stormed to the front of the field and landed on the podium with a runner-up finish.
Saturday's $10,044 event at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) was rained out.
