Herrington attends Spring Thaw 100 at Volunteer Speedway
With their original plans rained out, Wil Herrington and the JCM Motorsports crew made the last minute decision to travel to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for the XR Super Series-sanctioned Spring Thaw 100.
With 60 Late Models in the pit area, Herrington timed in 19th-quickest in his qualifying group before running seventh in his heat race. With one more chance to make the $100,000-to-win main event, Herrington recorded a sixth-place outing in his B-Main.
