Herrington follows Lucas Oil Speedweek to All-Tech Raceway
With Friday’s $12,000-to-win program falling victim to Mother Nature, Wil Herrington and JCM Motorsports returned with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Saturday afternoon at All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) for the second round of the track’s Winter Nationals.
In a field of 44 cars, Herrington edged his way into the main event with the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat after passing three cars with a nifty move coming out of turn two. With $15,000 on the line in the feature, Wil was an early retiree with 11 circuits remaining in the 50-lapper.
